Hardware
Connecting the physical environment to fleet orchestration. Sensing real-world conditions, responding in real time, and tracking moving assets.

I/O Sensing
I/O box integrates robots with the environment around them, connecting your facility's sensors, machines, and systems to Idealworks OS to collect information and trigger actions in real time. Your fleet stays in sync with what's happening on the shop floor.

Fire-alarm-triggered fleet pause
Synchronized pick and drop with connected machinery
Traffic light gating for limited-capacity zones
Station occupancy monitoring — empty or ready
Conveyor release signalling for coordinated handoff
Gate, door, and elevator communication
I/O box wired into existing facility hardware: gates, alarms, sensors, conveyor docks.
I/O box monitors connected devices and captures state changes in real time.
Events transmit to Idealworks OS over MQTT or REST. No middleware required.
OS rules evaluate the event. I/O box writes commands back to connected equipment when needed.

Heatmaps and utilization insight for manual vehicles
Pedestrian-crossing hotspot identification
The RTLS unit attaches to the vehicle. No floor markers, no ceiling anchors, no facility changes required.
Visual-inertial SLAM maps the environment and reports the vehicle's position. 20 cm accuracy, up to 15 Hz.
